Alexander Bland is the Founder of Sapphire Financial Planning and current Director.

After a number of years in the Financial Services industry, he along with the dedicated team at Sapphire Financial Planning have established Sapphire Financial Planning as one of the front runners in financial advice. Regularly speaking across the country on Financial Advice, him and the advisory team have helped make the confusing world of finances and the relevant jargon become simple and structured. Ultimately, Financial Planning is revolved around a core value, “enjoying life”. Alex and the team help assist you in this, by planning for you to have the finances in the right place at the right time, with the support and advice when you need it.

Nathan is a UK-based Financial Planner with a clear and simple purpose: to help people make confident financial decisions and build long-term security for themselves and their families.

He brings both professional experience and real-life perspective to his work and as a father to one daughter, becoming a parent fundamentally shaped how he views money, responsibility and planning for the future. His motivation for doing this job is deeply personal – he wants to show his daughter that a successful career can be built by genuinely helping others, acting with integrity, and building long-lasting relationships based on trust.

Nathan believes financial planning is not about products or short-term results, but about understanding what truly matters to each client and putting a clear, structured plan in place to support their goals as life evolves.

Outside of work, Nathan values time with his family and enjoys boxing and golf, both of which reflect the discipline, focus and consistency he brings to his professional life.

Corinna Reilly is our Office Manager and brings over 30 years’ experience in Banking and Financial Services.

She brings a genuine sense of care, understanding and professionalism to everything she does, and always strives to achieve the best outcomes for both our clients and the team around her.

Passionate about customer service and team support, Corinna takes great pride in delivering an exceptional client experience. Her background in management, combined with extensive face-to-face and telephone client support, enables her to offer a wealth of knowledge and service expertise.

Corinna thoroughly enjoys supporting her team and is always looking for ways to ensure they feel valued and cared for, believing this to be vital in creating a happy and productive workplace.

Polly began her career in financial services in 2006.

She holds a Diploma in Financial Planning from the Chartered Insurance Institute, an MSc (Hons) in Finance from Middlesex University, and BA (Hons) in Economics from Russian University of Economics (Moscow). Over sixteen years Polly has provided paraplanning support to Independent Financial Advisers, a Discretionary Fund Manager and partners of St. James’s Place.

Experienced in areas of Investments and Personal Tax planning, Polly provides research on technical issues, relays reasons for advice to our clients and helps with the smooth running of the compliance side of our business.’

Natasha Payton joined Sapphire Financial Planning a few years ago, originally managing and organising our client events and processing client business.

As Finance Controller, Natasha is responsible for financial reporting, payroll, and liaising with third parties. She has an excellent work ethic and strong attention to detail, making her a highly valued member of the team.

Natasha is well loved within the office, always paying attention to the little details and embracing every opportunity to celebrate special occasions.

Tracey Davey is often the first friendly voice our clients hear and a welcoming point of contact for our team.

With over 20 years’ experience in financial services, Tracey brings a genuine sense of care, understanding and professionalism to everything she does.

Passionate about customer service, she takes pride in delivering an exceptional client experience. Her background in banking, combined with extensive face-to-face and telephone client support, means she offers a wealth of knowledge and service expertise.

Tracey enjoys the variety of her role and supporting clients at every stage of their financial journey, ensuring they always feel valued, supported and in safe hands.

Karen Watson is our welcoming first point of contact for our clients. She is our friendly, super efficient administrator with more than 30 years experience providing care and understanding to customers within both the Corporate and Not for Profit Sectors.

Being diligent in her role she is a strong member of the team delivering client service is second nature to her. Her past experience in Project work brings benefits in the current constantly evolving modern business world.

She both enjoys the challenge of evolving business practices and gets satisfaction from being part of a successful business. Her fondness for order and routine support the whole team’s efforts and her focus on delivering service is exceptional.

Karen delivers friendly professionalism and ensures an excellent client experience.

Natalie Reid is our Business Processor, bringing over two decades of experience in the financial services industry since 2000.

She has built a strong track record of delivering exceptional customer service across a variety of client-facing roles and is known for maintaining a consistently high standard of professionalism, ensuring every interaction is positive and solution-focused.

Her strengths lie in organisation, attention to detail, and a proactive “can-do” attitude, enabling her to handle challenges efficiently and effectively. Natalie has a natural ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, fostering trust and long-term value.

She thrives in team environments, where collaboration and shared goals bring out her best performance. Natalie is committed to contributing positively to the organisation by combining experience, reliability, and a genuine passion for helping clients and colleagues alike.

Outside of work, Natalie is a keen runner with a passion for endurance challenges. She has completed eight marathons to date and is working towards reaching double figures. She enjoys spending time outdoors and values the discipline and resilience that structured training brings, continually pushing herself to improve with each race she enters.

Tanya works as part of our processing team. She is very experienced and competent processing client business and ensuring investments make their destination in a timely way resulting in a smooth transition for our clients.

Tanya is there to help our clients with online access to their investments through their wealth accounts. She is also the friendly contact our clients have when arranging letters of authority for us to help with plans held with other providers.

Already a key member of the Sapphire team, she always provides excellent service with a smile.
